FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hi! Thank you so much for your interest in having a photoshoot with me. To make sure our photoshoot runs smoothly, I’ve made a list of frequently asked questions for you to read through before booking! 

Hopefully all of your questions are answered in this pack, and if not, don’t be afraid to send over an e-mail and I’ll be quick to reply.

How do we come up with an idea for a shoot?

It’s completely up to you what direction or mood you want to go in. It doesnt have to be complicated, we can pick a location and simply shoot! We can talk about it and I can make you a mood-board with ideas, if you’re looking to get more creative. Or if you’d like me to come up with a concept based on my own ideas, I’m also more than happy to do so. Sending over references saves a lot of time too!


How long does the shoot take?

I’m very generous when it comes to time, I’m all about natural connections and allowing myself to create freely, with you. However long it takes to get the shot! Luckily, with years of experience, I’ve learnt how to shoot quickly and effectively. I know when we have the shots and when we need to keep going at it. But, I don’t like to set a time limit. We’re creating after all :-) 


What locations are included?

Locations can be all around London, I am happy to offer my home as a location. There’s so much room for creativity and putting up backdrops. If you’d like to shoot in a studio, we would have to hire. But my home has white walls, I have the lights - so anything is possible.


How do I get my photos?

I will send them to you on Wetransfer. An Incredible service that allows me to send you the photos via email and a downloadable link, you have 7 days to download the photos until the link expires. I tend to remove photos fast from my drive so it’s recommended you download and save the photos promptly and safely. 


Do I select the photos?

I do allow clients to choose their own photos, I send over a contact sheet after the photoshoot with all photos for you to choose from. However, do keep in mind, choosing the photos is part of my job, and all of my photos are chosen specifically to my eye. I do recommend allowing me to choose the photos for you. But, it’s your choice.


When will I receive the photos?

You will receive the edited photos within 10 days of the photoshoot.


Can I have the unedited photos?

Nope, sorry.


How does payment work?

50% of the payment is made before the shoot, as a non-refundable deposit. This allows me to book off the day and plan towards the photo-shoot. After we shoot, and I deliver the photos, you will then pay the remaining 50% immediately after. 


What If I can’t make the photoshoot due to sickness/weather is bad?

If there is absolutely no way we can go ahead with the photoshoot, we can put the deposit towards another date. If you need to reschedule, I need to be told 3 days max before the photoshoot. If you need to cancel and do not want to reschedule - the deposit is non refundable.
